Our Campers are enjoying 1 day of inspiration and perspiration that will challenge each young lady to reach their full potential as a field hockey player ON and OFF the field. We invite you to pray for them.   

Come and up-level your field hockey skills, make new friends, have a blast, and learn from elite coaches who will challenge you to be your best. Open to all field hockey players from any county, high school or club/travel teams.

Danielle Baumgardner

Assistant Field Hockey Coach

Saint Francis University (D1)

Coach Baumgardner moved to SFU after serving as the Director of Coach Development and U19 Head Coach for the Central Penn Field Hockey Club for the last year and a half. Prior to her time with the club team, Baumgardner served as the field hockey head coach at Saint Louis University. During her time with the Bilikens, she guided the team to its most wins in 2017 and 2018 since 2008, including the program's first-ever win against a Big Ten school in Indiana University during the 2017 campaign. In addition, her teams also excelled in the classroom with 24 student-athletes named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFCA) National Academic Squad and had five players earn Scholars of Distinction

Carley Shannon

Head Field Hockey Coach

Hood College (D3)

Carley Shannon is finishing her second year as head coach of the Hood College field hockey program. Shannon comes to Hood after spending the past two years as a volunteer coach at Division I Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, her alma mater. Shannon earned All-Mid-American Conference Second Team at midfielder as a senior after leading the Cardinals in points. She was a standout in the classroom, as well, where she earned Academic All-Mid-American Conference honors and National Scholar of Distinction from the NFHCA. Shannon graduated from Ball State in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science and a minor in coaching. She earned her Master of Science degree in exercise physiology from BSU in 2020.

Inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma Chapter at Goucher College (Natl. College Athletic Honor Society). 

 

Goucher College Graduate with Bachelor of Arts in History and secondary education concentration in 2021, currently working on her Master’s degree in Multidisciplinary Education K-12 at Hood College.
