Volunteers Near Me - FCA

Volunteers Matter!

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the FRC FCA ministry. Without them we could not reach every coach, every athlete, every sport in every school and community. The FRC FCA is a sports ministry with the vision…

…to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.

Volunteer with the FRC FCA

Does this make your heart skip a beat? Do you have desire be on a team of dedicated followers of Christ and play a vital role in building the Kingdom of God through sports? Matthew says it this way…

“You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. 15 No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

If you are you looking for a place to let your light shine, to volunteer and serve to make an impact with your gifts/talents in your local community we would love to talk to you right away. There are many volunteer opportunities with the FRC FCA, a ministry where your light can shine bright.

Why Volunteer?

We are called to serve in our communities by the good Lord, not just stay on first base, and serve our own needs, but to hit the home run by loving each other. Paul put it this way in Galatians.

“For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for self-indulgence, but through love become slaves to one another.  For the whole law is summed up in a single commandment, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”  Galatians 5:13-14

As much as we all dislike being told what to do, Paul is reminding us that it is a commandment, not a suggestion, to love your neighbor as yourself. John makes it very clear here…

Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.” John 14:23

Are you a good fit to volunteer at FCA?

I would love to have everyone volunteer with us at the FRC FCA, but I recognize that our ministry is not for everyone. If you connect with our vision let’s talk, if not, I encourage you to find a local ministry or non-profit that you do connect with and take the first step. We would even be happy to connect you with another non-profit or ministry to serve. The needs of our community are never ending – find something the Lord has given you a passion in your heart to help and to be the miracle for someone else helps us all. We are all on the same team.

The desire of my heart is to build a culture where a world-class team of staff and volunteers will thrive in their gifts, grow spiritually & experience the love of God.
