OBJECTIVE:

As the Digital Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the FRC Area Director digital marketing plans which could include SEO, Google Ads, Social Media, PR, Email Marketing, Content Marketing, and related Digital MarCom roles.


REPORTS TO: FRC Area Director


GOAL: Provide a unique learning hands on learning experience combining your marketing and communication skills with your love for sports and Jesus Christ. The Area Director at the FRC is a former owner of a Digital Marketing Agency, so this is a unique opportunity to learn from an experience digital marketer and communicator.


POSSIBLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and manage the NOVA Area Directors social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Instagram, and others as needed.
  • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence with both free and paid campaigns.
  • Manage and build various email lists and campaigns, including the design templates, calls-to-action, and content used in email sends.
  • Review both onsite and offsite SEO presence for frcfca.org and make/implement recommendations for improvement.
  • Review/edit/implement strategies in paid marketing efforts of FRC FCA
  • Proactively scope and present new ideas to improve our website experience for prospects, leads, and customers. Update/edit frcfca.org
  • Develop/review/edit the content marketing strategy
  • Help brainstorm strategies for the Area Director to serve as an evangelist for our message, brand, and content through thought leadership and blogging, social media, and speaking.
  • Create 1-2 free resources each month to drive leads (coaches, applicants, donors), subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics (examples include eBooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, etc.).
  • Blog on an ongoing basis in support of your other projects and to attract site visitors through search, social, and our email subscribers
  • Capture studio-quality video both at FCA camps & events plus in the office as projects dictate.
  • Shoot and edit content to build a library of testimony videos, hiring videos, and so on
  • Identify and build relationships with prominent influencers and thought leaders in our space.
  • Brainstorm new, creative approaches to working closer with the influential members of our industry and serve as a go-to resource to the rest of the NOVA FCA team.
  • Connect with influential media outlets and journalists to place stories about company news and other initiatives.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills. You will be working with other ministry professionals and are expected to convey the culture and beliefs of FCA outward to our partners.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required
  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
  • Skilled in creating, editing, and promoting written, visual, and video content.
  • The ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
  • Active and well-rounded personal presence on social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.
  • Bonus skills: HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • US Citizen
  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree at accredited college or university
  • Agree to the FCA Statement of Faith
